My lecturers notes are hard for me to understand. It's only a first year module on my course and it's worth 10 credits. I've just completed my first week and the results only came out yesterday so everything is in freefall until things are organised regarding this module. I will try attend 1st year study session if I can. I doubt he will help me if I'm stuck though. The lecturer is helpful to a certain extent. I've never used a time boxing system before but I will try it. I don't know if I can attend any physics lectures as I'm progressing into 2nd year and it's a 5 day week. The lecturer could cover brand new material though I was told that. I have all my notes saved from first year. Tipler and Mosca is a popular one for first year physics modules, but going with the recommended one is preferable cos it'll cover the stuff on your module. Get a list of topic areas for the module - probably from the module handbook (which is what we have in the UK) and I'd suggest making a list and going through it with a timeboxing system like it might be possible for you to attend the first year lectures again you could ask your lecturers to explain things when you are getting stuck you can also ask friends who passed the module to explain things you could try join a study group with the first years taking the module Obviously see if there's a recommended book on the module handbook.
